This Friday, the 15th, Within Temptation , legendary leaders of dark anthems, releases the music video for their latest single “Don't Pray For Me,” which arrived last Friday, the 8th. The video shows the band performing in a giant sanctuary, interspersed with surreal portraits and occult imagery.

Regarding the song, singer Sharon den Adel comments: “'Don't Pray For Me' fights against forcing beliefs and fears on others and testifies to the acceptance of one's own journey. It's an anthem about accepting the fact that beliefs can be fluid, multiple, or frankly different. The song is about allowing people to pursue their own destiny.”

Currently, Within Temptation is in the studio working on composing and recording songs for their next album , the successor to Resist (2019), scheduled for release in 2023.

The remainder of 2022 for the symphonic metal group will be filled with a season of European summer festivals, a US tour with Iron Maiden , and their European tour together with Evanescence at the end of the year.
