The Dutch band Within Temptation released the music video for "Shed My Skin" on Wednesday, the 14th, a single released last month. The video was shared on the eve of the group's online concert. The music video for "Shed My Skin," a collaboration with the German group Annisokay , showcases this new phase of the band's virtual reality approach, investing in the audiovisual spectacle of their music.
Speaking about the song, Within Temptation vocalist Sharon den Adel said: “'Shed My Skin' is about dealing with inevitable changes in life. It's about becoming the person we're meant to be, even if it means losing people we love but have become distant from. Real growth begins where comfort zones end, and that's exactly what the song is about: if we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we're not really living.”
