Within Temptation has just announced that they will be releasing a new single titled “The Purge” on the 20th.
With no news yet about a new album, the announcement raises expectations for a new album of original songs, as it's the second track released this year, following "Entertain You," which even got an intense and energetic music video – watch it below.
It's worth remembering that when the music video was released, the band's vocalist, Sharon Del Adel , shared a reflective message about the song: "The inspiration comes from how we treat a certain group of people who don't fit into our society and whom we always feel the need to emphasize how much they don't fit in – so that we can feel good about ourselves."
