Wind of Change , a biographical film about the history of the Scorpions , is scheduled for release in 2025.

The production company ESX Entertainment has announced a project that will tell the story of the German band's journey from their beginnings in the 1960s to worldwide fame. It's interesting to remember that Scorpions' biggest hit, which coincidentally is the film's title, "Wind of Change," was released in 1991.

The main people responsible for the film are producer Ali Afshar and French director Alex Ranavielo , who previously worked together on American Wrestler: The Wizard (2016).

Regarding the inspiration for the feature film, Afshar himself has a special connection with the Scorpions, and said that when he fled with his family from Iran to the United States, the band's music changed his life, if not saved it. (via Deadline )

“I hope that by telling the story of the Scorpions, we can bring some of that same inspiration to the world,” said Afshar. (via Deadline )

Filming for Wind of Change is expected to take place later this year, but the cast has not yet been announced.
