Will Carroll , drummer for Death Angel , was one of the first names in music to become seriously ill due to the coronavirus at the beginning of the pandemic, even claiming, during his coma, to have gone to Hell and seen Satan.
In an interview with the German program Rockpalast , the musician gave more details about his experience with the virus, refuting what many say, that the symptoms are just like a "flu," saying, "I've had the flu before, and just from experience, this [COVID-19] was a thousand times worse."
“Just struggling to breathe is truly the most terrifying thing I’ve ever experienced, struggling to stay alive, it seemed,” he continues. “And since then, I’ve been going to the doctor frequently, and I’ve had two or three COVID tests since I left the hospital. I’ve been very careful, always wearing a mask when I go out and doing what I can to stay on the positive side of things.”
