The Casanovas released their new single “The Lover” last Friday, the 28th, as part of their fifth studio album, Backseat Rhythms , announced for August 25th. Following the classic hard rock and arena sound already known from the band, the new song brings classic ballads of the genre into the present.

Like the new album, the single "The Lover" was mixed by legendary American producer Ron Nevison, whose resume includes classics like Quadrophenia by The Who and Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin , as well as production work for Thin Lizzy, UFO , and Kiss , among others.
