On June 4th, Rise Against released their highly anticipated album Nowhere Generation . The work features political punk rock that addresses the political landscape of the United States, criticizing big business and politicians.
“Today there is the promise of the American dream and then there is the reality of the American dream. America’s ‘historical norm’ that the next generation will be better off than the last has been diminished by an era of mass social, economic and political instability and a betrayal of the middle class,” said guitarist and vocalist Tim McIlrath in a statement released to the press.
Featuring 11 tracks, the album was produced by longtime colleagues Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore . The cover art was designed and produced by Brian Roettinger , a creative director who has been nominated for a Grammy for his work.
Nowhere Generation , the band's ninth studio album, will also feature deluxe versions with special colored vinyl and booklets . Listen to the album below.
