Red Fang returned in early June with their fifth studio album, Arrows . Aaron Beam, Bryan Giles, John Sherman , and David Sullivan recorded and finalized the work before the pandemic, in December 2019. Despite a year's delay from the original release plan, Arrows arrives with a current and infectious sound.
“Making this album felt totally free and easy. It felt like we were just doing what we wanted, and not overthinking anything,” comments vocalist and bassist Beam. “That attitude reminded me a lot of the creative process behind Murder the Mountains . The result doesn’t sound anything like MTM, but it has more of that feel.”
Bryan Giles spoke to Wikimetal about the release and said, “There are no songs about quarantine or anything like that, just rock n’ roll. Even if I could, I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s a moment in time and I’m excited because we captured it.” Read the full interview here.
