The band Hurricanes released the single “The Bird's Gone” on the 10th. The song anticipates the band's first album, which will be released this year and focuses on the roots of blues and rock.

Hurricanes is known primarily for its energetic shows, and they were also chosen to open for The Black Crowes at Espaço Unimed next Tuesday, March 14th.

Regarding “The Bird's Gone,” guitarist Leo Mayer comments: “We think it perfectly represents the vibe of the new work. The album's foundation was recorded live, face-to-face, like the recordings we like best. We sought to record with vintage instruments and equipment from the 60s and 70s but using more modern recording and mixing techniques, which resulted in a very interesting sound.”

"Furthermore, 'The Bird's Gone' was the first composition for the new album, so we thought it was meaningful to release it as the first single," the guitarist added.

The band's first album will be released in 2023 by the ForMusic Records label.
