Hurricanes released the single “Purple Clouds” last Thursday, the 27th, via ForMusic Records . The track will be featured on the group's first album, which is scheduled for release sometime in 2023.
“Purple Clouds” captures the essence of 70s blues and rock combined with a contemporary sound. The music video, which can be seen at the end of this article, shows footage from the studio recording.
“'Purple Clouds' is a familiar song to those who attend our shows,” revealed guitarist Leo Mayer . “It was one of the first songs written by me and vocalist Rodrigo Cezimbra , right when we arrived in São Paulo in 2018. Until then, it had only been released in a more raw live session. This more complete version features Jimmy Pappon on Hammond organ and Júlia Danesi and Lucille Berce on backing vocals, in addition to a more refined production!”
Previously, the band had already released the lead single " The Bird's Gone ".
