The Brazilian rock and blues band Hurricanes has released a new single: the infectious “Penny in My Pocket”. Continuing with the vintage blues sound they presented on their debut album released this year, the group is already preparing their second studio album, which is expected to be released in 2024.

According to guitarist Leo Mayer , fans won't have to wait long to hear the band's new material. “The songwriting process has been very smooth; we came up with four new songs in the last month. We recorded some demos and finally decided to go into the studio, record, and release 'Penny In My Pocket'! We're very happy with this single and eager to finish the new songs,” says the guitarist, who also produced the single and the band's debut album.

The band's self-titled debut album, Hurricanes, was released this year by ForMusic Records, featuring eight captivating and energetic tracks.

Hurricanes is made up of Leo Mayer, Rodrigo Cezimbra, Henrique Cezarino , and Lucas Leão.
