Wikimetal Recommends features the debut album from the band FireWing , Resurrection . Released in April 2021, the work received excellent critical reviews, while public approval was evident in the numbers, with over 400,000 streams of the album on digital platforms.
The album was so successful that the group released a special edition for Brazil, which is already available for pre-order on the Universal Music website, a distribution partner of the band's label, Outono Music.
The album features special appearances by important musicians such as Haydée Irizarry (Aversed, Carnivora), Bill Hudson (Northtale, Doro, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and singer Jenn Sakura, as well as the virtuoso Brazilian guitarist Luis Kalil, Raphael Dantas (Soulspell, Ego Absence), Joe Atlan (Pentakill), Fabiano Rodrigues and Ryan Beevers (Unflesh).
Currently, FireWing consists of Airton Araujo (vocals), Chris Oliveira (drums), Rafael Lira (bass), Bruno Oliveira (guitar and orchestrations), and Caio Kehyayan (composer and guitarist).
