Saída de Emergência released their first album, Nova Velha Era, in April 2018, and since then their rock and roll has become increasingly relevant.

With elements of classic Brazilian rock like Raul Seixas , and international rock like Led Zeppelin , the band presents strong messages of social revolt. Nova Velha Era speaks about the social injustices we experience and witness every day.

The album has 14 tracks, one of which is "Eu Sou Brasileiro" (I Am Brazilian), a single that the band is currently promoting. The song addresses the manipulation of information in politics, proving to be relevant in the current global context.

Nova Velha Era was conceived by vocalist and guitarist Dino Chaves alongside colleagues Leandro de Castro (guitar), Lelo Carvalho (bass), and Loks Rasmussen (drums). The album features special appearances by Rick Ferreira – the guitarist who recorded all of Raul Seixas' albums starting with the legendary Gita (1974) – Petch Calazans on Hammond organ, Thiago Espírito Santo on bass, and Bruno Oliveira on backing vocals.

Listen to Nova Velha Era on Spotify , Deezer , or Apple Music , and then watch the visualizer for "Eu Sou Brasileiro".
