A major revelation in modern metal, the band AVATAR has been increasingly standing out in recent years and decided to surprise fans last Friday, the 5th, with the track “Crying Fire”.
Recorded during the sessions for the excellent album Don't Go In The Forest (2026), the song was intentionally saved for later by the group, with the intention of "saving the best for last".
“'Crying Fire' is very special to all of us. It was written and recorded as part of the Don't Go In The Forest. When making the final track selection for the album, this was an obvious choice. But then we started to wonder: What if we saved the best for later? What if we kept this gem away from the world for a while?”, explains vocalist Johannes Eckerström.
The music video showcases the best of the almost cinematic universe that AVATAR usually creates in their videos. The band, which has already opened for Iron Maiden in South America, is currently one of the guests on Metallica, and continues to win over fans and idols around the world.
