The loss of a musician is irreparable, and in addition to family members, bandmates and fans grieve along with them, as if they had lost a friend. Therefore, the issue of bands continuing their work after such a loss is controversial.

With this in mind, Wikimetal asked its readers what bands should do when such a tragedy occurs. The result was surprising: 85% of the votes showed that bands should continue their work regardless of the loss, while 15% believed that bands should change their name and start over from scratch.
