Kiss: Wikimetal readers disapprove of shows featuring avatars of the band members.

The band said goodbye to the stage but prepared a surprise for the fans.

KISS 's farewell to the stage took place in early December with a show at Madison Square Garden in New York. The performance concluded the long End of the Road Tour , but it also marked the global announcement of a new era for the band, which will continue as digital avatars.

With the band already offstage, the first appearance of Kiss avatars came on screen to present “God Gave Rock n' Roll To You”. In virtual reality, the members gained powers related to their respective characters. “The power and love [of the fans] has made us immortal. The new era of Kiss begins now,” announced Stanley's avatar. Watch the trailer for the new era of Kiss as avatars.
