The partnership between Wikimetal and Oporto da Música has just reached the impressive milestone of 100 CDs released in Brazil in less than 2 years. Since 2023, the initiative has offered the public physical editions of classic rock and heavy metal albums that, until then, had never been available in the country or were extremely difficult to find.
Every month, new titles arrive on the market, many of them in special editions with slipcases. The curated selection features works, mainly from the Warner and BMG labels, which have become benchmarks among fans of these genres around the world. Highlights of the catalog include releases from artists such as Mötley Crüe, Ramones, Testament, Overkill, Motörhead, Saxon, Whitesnake, Van Halen, and many others.
With this milestone, Wikimetal and Oporto da Música celebrate the success of their partnership, and also reaffirm the importance of the fans who keep the passion for physical records alive in times when digital dominates.
