If you've been a fan of Wikimetal and Megadeth since the beginning of 2018, you've surely seen this very special behind-the-scenes look at the "Lying in State" music video, filmed in São Paulo.
Today, in the Wikimetal Archive, we will revisit the behind-the-scenes of the song's music video, from the 2017 album Dystopia , the same year the video was filmed in Brazil.
“When we went to São Paulo in 2016, we filmed the music video for 'Conquer or Die'. We were so impressed with the director Leo Liberti that we asked him to direct the music video for 'Lying in State' as well (…) Many thanks to Kiko Loureiro for introducing us to Leo. I loved how Vic held a sword!”, wrote Dave Mustaine at the video's release, referring to Leo Liberti , from Libertà Filmes, responsible for the production and filming of the videos.
