Arch Enemy officially revealed their new lineup this Thursday, the 19th, and released "To The Last Breath," the first song from the band's new phase.
After much anticipation and rumors , the band announced Lauren Hart as their new vocalist. The singer has been establishing herself as one of the leading names in the new generation of international metal. Originally from the United States but raised in Australia, Lauren Hart taught herself piano as a child and guitar at age 14. In 2014, she was discovered by Monte Conner and gained prominence by taking over vocals for the band Once Human , a project led by guitarist Logan Mader (ex- Machine Head ). With the group, she participated in international tours and recorded albums that helped broaden her visibility beyond the underground scene, especially in Europe and Latin America.
Lauren Hart has also been involved in other musical projects. She performed as a guest vocalist on Kamelot tour between 2018 and 2019, and contributed backing vocals to DragonForce . In addition, she was part of the band Divine Heresy – a project by guitarist Dino Cazares of Fear Factor – where she led the vocals since 2022. Hart is primarily recognized for her consistent use of guttural vocals and aggressive growls, characteristics common to melodic death metal and metalcore. At the same time, she demonstrates mastery of clean melodic lines.
Back to the roots
Interestingly, Arch Enemy's early work inspired Lauren to pursue a career as a metal vocalist, as she stated in an interview with Loudwire . "When they released the album Wages of Sin , I heard Angela Gossow screaming, and at first, I thought it was a guy. And when my friends said, 'No, it's a girl, look at her picture,' I thought, 'This beautiful and amazing woman is screaming on this album?' I felt so inspired to try it too," she recalled.
The band has already announced a European tour, titled Back to the Root of All Evil , marking a new phase that returns to the origins of Arch Enemy. "Musically, it's undeniably aligned with my original vision for the band. And I believe longtime fans will recognize that immediately," confessed guitarist Michael Amott .

Arch Enemy will perform at Bangers Open Air 2026 , which takes place on April 25th and 26th at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo. Tickets are already on sale at the Clube do Ingresso website.
