The partnership between Wikimetal and Oporto da Música is bringing a variety of classic rock and metal albums to the Brazilian market every month, albums that were previously unavailable on CD or difficult to find in the country, many of them in special editions with slipcases. See below the albums that are already available in major stores and online at the Wikimetal Store :
Whitesnake
Slide It In , Whitesnake's sixth album, is widely considered a pivotal release for the band, marking their initial success in the United States and laying the groundwork for their breakthrough in the late 1980s. Notably, it was the last album to feature the original "snake" logo. The version available here is the 2019 remastered edition.
Loudness
Loudness was the first Japanese metal band to sign a recording contract outside of their home country in the early eighties. Lightning Strikes is their second album sung in English.
Opeth
Released in 2005, Ghost Reveries is Opeth's eighth project, and the first since 'Still Life' (1999) not to be produced by Steven Wilson. It is also the first to include keyboardist Per Wiberg as a permanent member and the last to include drummer Martin Lopez and longtime guitarist Peter Lindgren.
Heritage (2011), in turn, has a more progressive rock sound, something the group had wanted to do for some time, resulting in a stark contrast to the progressive death metal of their previous nine albums.
Satyricon
Satyricon's sixth album, Now, Diabolical (2006), showcases the power of the Norwegian black metal band's dark and impactful sound.
Foghat
Live is Foghat's best-selling album, with over two million copies sold and certified double platinum in the United States.
