Whitesnake shared “Forevermore”, the last music video featuring vocalist David Coverdale . The longtime frontman of the 80s hard rock band announced his retirement.

Forevermore , from Whitesnake's 2011 album, has been re-released in various formats, featuring previously unreleased material. The album sold approximately 12,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release, debuting at number 49 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Coverdale produced this music video, featuring a new orchestral arrangement by the Hook City Strings. Directed by Payton Murphy, the video shows Coverdale and the Hook City Strings performing the song in a simple studio, with photos of Coverdale and his loved ones in the background. A beautiful way to say goodbye to the stage.

Away from performing live since 2022, David Coverdale released a video on November 13th explaining his decision to retire. According to him, the time to "wrap it up" has arrived.
