Whitesnake: Dino Jelusick will share vocals with David Coverdale on farewell tour.

Guitarist Joel Hoekstra explained in more detail how the dynamics will be at the shows.

Whitesnake is the next major rock band in the world to embark on a farewell tour for the sake of vocalist David Coverdale . With Brazil as a confirmed stop on the itinerary, rehearsals for the series of shows around the world have already begun with the group's new lineup.

As guitarist Joel Hoekstra in an interview with Chris Akin (via Blabbermouth ), newcomer Dino Jelusick will be a vocalist alongside Coverdale on the tour, singing backing vocals and even lead parts of the songs, as well as acting as an instrumentalist.

“Well, [Dino is] an incredible keyboardist as well, so having his ability there is really great. And he’s singing a lot – I mean, he’s singing a lot of backing vocals and there are moments here and there where David has him sing a line of the song. So I think the ability to go out and tour the world with Whitesnake and showcase his singing and keyboard playing is a great opportunity for him,” said the guitarist. “He’s a fantastic talent, and he’s still young. So I think he has a great future ahead of him.”
vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra , was announced as a member of Whitesnake last July. In November, Tanya O’Callaghan was announced as the bassist.
