While She Sleeps releases its fifth studio album this Friday, the 16th. Featuring guest appearances by Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro and Deryck Whibley of Sum 41, Sleeps Society arrives via Search & Destroy / Spinefarm , two years after its predecessor So What .
With observations on modern life and society's interaction with the hypocrisy of the system while individuals try to maintain their mental health, the band addresses the struggle against negativity in several tracks.
Sleeps Society sends a message of support to fans, but also to those who have doubted the group's potential, as guitarist Sean Long when talking about "Systematic". "This song is a huge f*** you to everyone who doubted us and a call to never give up or let negativity win," he explained.
The album received excellent reviews from some of the biggest international specialized media outlets, with praise in The Guardian, Metal Hammer, Rock Sound and Kerrang !, for delivering power and relevant themes in a must-have album for metalcore fans.
