"Elephant" will be on the new album So What? Do While She Sleeps
Before the release of So What?, which comes out this Friday the 1st, While She Sleeps revealed a new track, “Elephant”.
“The previous album, You Are We , was about us learning to really listen to ourselves,” said guitarist Mat Welsh . “This album is about us learning how to practice that. You Are We was basically a demo version of that album.”
Thematically, Welsh said that So What? is about how easily we judge everything before we know what we're judging it about. “If we put a really elaborate title on a record with an elaborate cover, it makes you decide what to think of it before you even listen. The only thing we put our creativity into was the music.”
