Andreas Kisser has set a deadline for Sepultura and revealed plans for the end of the tour, including a possible participation of all former members.
In an interview with the newspaper O Globo , Andreas Kisser indicated that the last show will be in 2026. He explained: “We want to celebrate without rushing, but we have 2026 as the deadline for the band's end. We'll stretch it out as long as possible.”
The band is currently on the second Brazilian leg of their farewell tour, Celebrating Life Through Death , after touring other Latin American countries.
Andreas also commented on plans to play in places they've never been before, such as Iceland and Alaska. He said, "It's like we're dying. We want to fulfill our dreams before the end."
The guitarist reflected on the past and the changes over time. He mentioned visits to nearly 80 countries, including South Korea and the Soviet Union in 1992, highlighting how some of those places have evolved.
The band plans to release a live album to commemorate its 40th anniversary and is considering an EP with unreleased songs. Sepultura bids farewell as one of the most successful artists in Brazilian history, with over 20 million albums sold.
