The guitarist also comments on Adam Lambert
In an interview with presenter and radio host Eddie Trunk, Slayer guitarist Kerry King talked about the day he met Brian May of Queen.
“Brian May wanted to meet us. We all took pictures with him. He came and met us on the way to the stage because we needed to pass by where they [Queen] were. So he came and we took a picture.”.
I wasn't going to take the picture, but everyone else was, and I thought, 'Who am I kidding? When will I see Brian May again?' And after we played, I went to watch their set.”
He also commented on the vocalist who is accompanying Queen, Adam Lambert:
“I thought it was good. I felt something was missing and Tom [Araya] agreed. I was at the show 'What's Missing?' and then he said 'The hoarseness.' He doesn't have the hoarseness that Freddie Mercury had.”
