Rainbow in the Dark Ronnie James Dio 's biography , will be released on July 27th, and the musician's widow and manager, Wendy Dio, will hold a virtual book signing to celebrate the news.
Wendy will participate in a one-hour event produced by Premiere Collectibles on July 28th at 4 PM (Brasilia time) for those who pre-order the book here. Fans who participate will be able to ask Wendy questions and watch the live stream on Dio's Facebook page .
Rainbow in the Dark was co-written by music journalist Mick Wall and Wendy Dio after he began writing the book shortly before being diagnosed with cancer. The book tells the story of the musician's childhood and follows him through his days with Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath , and more.
The book is illustrated with photos from Ronnie's personal archive. Rainbow in the Dark is available on all international websites. It is not yet known if the book will be translated into Portuguese.
