Wendy Dio says that Dio would have liked her hologram

Wendy talks to Eddie Trunk

In an interview with journalist Eddie Trunk, Ronnie James Dio's wife, Wendy Dio, spoke about the experience of seeing Dio as a hologram, and said that Dio would have approved of the performance:

"Everyone really liked it, and they cried. There was so much love. People understood and loved it. I didn't think I would cry, but I did.".

You always have the negative people, but I think the fans who didn't have the opportunity to see Ronnie live would like to see him, and the people who did see him would like to see him again. Especially with his bandmates.

I thought it was a good idea, especially using Ronnie – he was always a big fan of fantasy and theatrical acts. I think it's something he would have liked to have done, and it's something that keeps his music and his memory alive.”

Dio Disciples says they may do a hologram tour next year, with Dio singing about six songs from the setlist.
