Weezer releases version of "Enter Sandman" that is part of the 'Metallica Blacklist'

The band is one of 53 artists invited to participate in the re-release of 'The Black Album'.

The latest band to release their version of a track from the Black Album is Weezer . Staying true to the original song, the group covered " Enter Sandman ," the opening track from Metallica .

All proceeds from the track will go to the All Within My Hands , created by Metallica, which is dedicated to creating sustainable communities by promoting workforce education, fighting hunger, and providing other essential local services.

Weezer is one of 53 artists invited to be part of The Metallica Blacklist – an extensive project featuring various covers of tracks from The Black Album , to be released in its entirety alongside the super deluxe 30th-anniversary edition of the album. Other names whose versions have already been revealed include Miley Cyrus , St. Vincent , and Volbeat .
