When I first heard the song 'Status Seeker' in the late 90s, I thought to myself:
"The music is very good, but I don't think this Dream Theater thing will be as successful as one of my favorite bands, Fates Warning. But it's good to know that there are other bands coming up behind them."
Well, I guess I couldn't have been more wrong. Dream Theater took off and became arguably the greatest expression of Prog Metal, while Fates Warning never quite reached great heights.
Still, Fates Warning is one of my favorite bands, and that's why it's my choice this week. Eye To Eye!!!
