There's no way around it. I was completely enchanted by their show this week. The audience witnessed a perfect performance, excellent songs, and a truly Brazilian charm.
Congratulations to these Swedish women, and may they return many times!!!

Daniel's sound of the week:
Before the stones start flying, it's worth saying: Yes, I know this isn't Heavy Metal.
I have fiercely defended the idea that "Heavy Metal" is much more than just a style of music. It's a lifestyle. It encompasses various musical styles that, despite their differences, share many similarities (in posture, attitude, and sound), and together, they fight against the 'pagode, axé, and sertanejo music of the world'.
Together they will create a much stronger scene and market.
Punk Rock is undoubtedly one of those styles that fits under the "Umbrella of Heavy Metal," and we've already featured bands like Ramones, The Clash, and Suicidal Tendencies here.
Those who listen carefully to this Bad Religion sound might even identify some missing link between Melodic Metal and Punk Rock.
