We Came As Romans releases first songs after vocalist's death.

Kyle Pavone, one of the vocalists for We Came As Romans, died last year.

Last August, We Came As Romans melodic vocalist, Kyle Pavone .

The band regrouped and vowed that no vocalist would replace Kyle. Now, they've released two new tracks featuring only the guttural vocalist David Stephens .

Guitarist Joshua Moore spoke about the post-grief process:

“When Kyle passed away, it changed everything for us personally and as a band,” he said. “An event like this puts everything into perspective. We spent so much time together. We’d been doing this since we were kids. The only thing that won’t change is how Kyle affected my life,” he continued.

“Before we were bandmates, we were essentially brothers. To be genuine for our fans and for ourselves, we had to write about how we dealt with loss. At the same time, these aren’t songs steeped in depression. We want to celebrate what we’ve built together.”
