Two years ago, We Came As Romans released two new songs , their first since the tragic death of vocalist Kyle Pavone . Now, the group returns with a third single without the singer, with the guttural David Stephens replacing him.
“Darkbloom” was released along with a music video that you can watch below. According to the band, the song is about that “difficult moment in our lives when we see that we need to grow, or at least have the possibility to learn from the situation.”.
Guitarist Joshua Moore said (via Blabbermouth ) that the song is meant to show us that even in difficult times we can choose to deal with bad feelings and "see that we have the strength to overcome these adversities in life."
The band hasn't revealed whether the singles will be part of a full album, following Cold Like War. However, everything indicates that We Came As Romans may be officially returning, as they are even planning a tour.
