We Are The Fallen , a band formed by former Evanescence , guitarists Ben Moody and John LeCompt and drummer Rocky Gray , has announced its return to the stage after a 14-year hiatus. The lineup is completed by vocalist Carly Smithson , a former contestant on the reality music show American Idol .

On September 12th, in one week, the group will reunite for a single performance in Nashville, Tennessee. The event will feature the city's Symphony Orchestra and conductor Elmear Noone , leader of Gamesymphonic .

Noone will be performing some of the most iconic tracks from the world of video games at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. For the event, We Are The Fallen will be without Gray, who will be replaced by fellow drummer Miles McPherson . The musician has previously performed alongside names like Better Than Ezra , Paramore , and Tonic [ via Blabbermouth ].
