On May 12th, Slipknot played a show at the Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida. This was their third show with Eloy Casagrande , formerly of Sepultura , on drums. A fan recorded the entire performance, which can be seen at the end of the page.

In addition, he participated in a performance at Pappy + Harriet's in Pioneertown, California, on April 25th. Following that, he performed at Sick New World on April 27th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The band is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Therefore, they are wearing their classic red jumpsuits and have added details to their masks from those they wore in 1999.

Eloy Casagrande and the Slipknot shows

Jay Weinberg 's departure in November, Slipknot made an enigmatic post with a photo of a broken drumstick and the caption "Rehearsal." The band then explained that Weinberg's departure was a creative decision. Jay later commented that the decision caught him by surprise and had upset him. Weinberg currently plays with Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves .

On the other hand, Eloy had been part of Sepultura for 13 years. The musician replaced Juan Dolabella . To everyone's surprise, a few days before Sepultura's farewell tour, he informed the band of his departure.

The last album released by Slipknot was in August 2022, The End, So Far . It was recorded with former keyboardist Craig Jones , who left the group in June 2023, and of course with Weinberg.
