Between The Buried Me released their new album Automata Part I today via Sumerian Records, and along with the album release comes the music video for the song “Millions”.
Vocalist and keyboardist Tommy Rogers says: “Millions is told from the perspective of a child dealing with loss. However, in the video we wanted it to be a platform that represents the entire album and the many faces of the main protagonist that he uses.”
At the end of the year, Between The Buried And Me will release Automata Part II. Explaining the decision to make two separate releases, Rogers said: “Every week a song comes and goes. We can get music instantly and with that luxury, it’s hard for the listener to sit down with the albums and explore all their twists and turns. So we decided to release our new album in two parts. Our music is dense and our albums are very long, so we want to give people two separate moments to dive into this year and explore new music that we’ve put all our heart into.”
