The documentary about Orphaned Land is called All Is One

German TV channel Rockpalast produced a one-hour documentary about the Israeli band Orphaned Land.

“All Is One” is more than just the name of one of the band's albums; it's the quintet's philosophy, claiming that the three major religious groups – Christians, Muslims, and Jews – come from the same origin. German filmmakers Ingo Schmoll and Conny Schiffbauer visited Israel to follow the band and gain a personal insight into the musicians, visiting band members at home, meeting their families, and learning about their daily lives.

“In the documentary, we are trying to take the audience beyond the endless discussions about the conflicts in the Middle East, bringing a much more human approach to everything ,” the filmmakers explain.

Orphaned Land incorporates Middle Eastern influences into almost all of their music and is considered the leading metal band in Israel.

The band's latest album, Unsung Prophets & Dead Messiahs , was released on January 26th via Century Media.
