Last weekend, on the 24th, Metallica performed at the Louder Than Life as part of the Global Citizen , a worldwide charity event that was broadcast for 24 hours on Apple Music , Apple TV , YouTube and Twitter .

For their performance, Metallica played the songs “For Whom The Bell Tolls” and “No Leaf Clover,” which can be heard at the end of this article. Previously, the band had stated: “We are honored to support the work that our friends at Global Citizen do daily to help make the planet a better place.”

Global Citizen organized events and performances across six continents last weekend to unite the world against poverty and in defense of planet Earth. The program included live events in places such as Rio de Janeiro; Lagos, Nigeria; London, England; Paris, France; Sydney, Australia; Seoul, South Korea; and Los Angeles and New York, in the United States.
