In 1992, several legendary names in music were touring the world performing concerts, and on September 26 of that year in Castaic Lake, Southern California, Sonic Youth, Mudhoney , and Kurt Cobain shared the same stage.
During The Pretty Fucking Dirty Tour , which featured Pavement as the opening act, Mudhoney made a very special guest appearance at this particular show, singing a cover of "The Money Will Roll Right In" by Fang , a song Nirvana had also performed at some concerts.
Cobain also performed solo songs such as his cover of Leadbelly "Where Did You Sleep Last Night," which would eventually be immortalized on MTV Unplugged in 1993 .
