The first part of the tour takes place in Europe starting in March 2022.

WASP 's 40th anniversary will be celebrated with a world tour! The band has announced the first dates of the 40 Years Live World Tour in Europe for 2022 – and with Brazilian Aquiles Priester on drums,

On the road with the band since 1982, when WASP was formed, vocalist and guitarist Blackie Lawless promised a return to the band's roots on this anniversary tour. “We’re taking the show back to where it all began. Complete, with all the fire and all the blood that shocked the world for the first time. We only did this kind of show on the first world tour and never again… Until now! I’m going to scream and bleed, because 'I Wanna Be Somebody',” he commented in a press release.

The dates announced so far begin in Italy on March 12, 2022, and continue through Europe until May, with Priester confirmed as the drummer, who has been with the group since 2017. The line-up is completed by Doug Blair (guitar) and Mike Duda (bass), the same lineup that toured Brazil in 2019.

“I am very happy and honored to be part of this historic tour celebrating WASP’s 40th anniversary, one of the most important heavy metal bands in the world. It will be a grand return to the stage after the hiatus due to the pandemic. I am happy to have a new schedule of shows,” Priester commented on the announcement.

As of now, no dates have been announced for South America, but the band is a confirmed act for the Metal Fest , which takes place on September 24th in Mexico.
