Warrel Dane was in São Paulo recording a new album

On March 7, 1961, in Seattle, United States, a child was born who would later begin his career in Heavy Metal with the band Serpents Knight.

But it was with Sanctuary that he began to gain recognition, and with the band Nevermore, he truly established himself in the heavy music scene, releasing classic albums, playing at major festivals, and touring alongside great bands.

Warrel died on December 13, 2017, from a heart attack. The singer also suffered from diabetes and had problems with alcohol. He was in São Paulo recording his second solo album, Shadow Work , with Brazilian musicians Thiago Oliveira (guitar), Johnny Moraes (guitar), Fabio Carito (bass), and Marcus Dotta (drums).

As if all his own creations weren't enough, Warrel Dane also lent his voice to further enhance the work of other artists. From the beauty and tranquility of Moran Magal to the chaotic Black Metal of Behemoth, Warrel demonstrated his versatility.
