Former Nevermore and Sanctuary vocalist Warrel Dane was working on his second solo album
Before passing away in December 2017 , vocalist Warrel Dane was working on his second solo album. Shadow Work has just been released and features the last works of the former Nevermore and Sanctuary .
Musicians Thiago Oliveira , Johnny Moraes , Fabio Carito , and Marcus Dotta completed their partner's work. Vocals recorded in various studios were used alongside tracks from the pre-production sessions. "Giving birth to a work like this is a tribute to someone who was like family to us. We honor his memory by sharing some of the wild poetry he created and was so proud of," they stated.
“Warrel came into our lives like a storm and took us on a very intense ride. We traveled endless roads towards the unknown, to places we never dreamed possible, inside and outside our minds. And then he left.”.
