Axl Rose heard the story
A waitress from Virginia in the United States recently became known for experiencing racism at her workplace. Sadie Elledge, an American citizen of Honduran and Mexican descent, received a bill from a customer that read "we only tip citizens" .
Elledge's story became known after she was invited to a TV show called "Glam with Greice," which, knowing about her case, invited the waitress for a day of shopping and a beauty salon visit. During her appearance, one of the surprises she received was a call from Axl Rose.
Rose called Sadie and invited the waitress to an AC/DC concert: “I didn’t like what happened to you at all. I want to be part of Greice’s plan and invite you to the AC/DC concert in Washington DC.”
The show's host, Greice Santo, spoke about Axl: "He's one of the sweetest and most generous people I know, and he's a down-to-earth, ordinary guy. He really wanted to do something special for Sadie."
Elledge will be at the show in Washington on September 17th and will be bringing family and friends as guests of the band.
