Wacken Open Air announces official event in Brazil

The event will be held by Bangers Open Air and will take place on April 18th in São Paulo

Wacken Open Air , one of the world's largest and most respected heavy metal festivals, celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2026 with an unprecedented and historic initiative. Titled Party On Wacken 2026 , the event will take place simultaneously in 35 countries, bringing the unique atmosphere of the German festival to different parts of the planet.

In Brazil, the event will be held by Bangers Open Air and will take place on April 18th at Audio in São Paulo. The Brazilian edition will bring together four fundamental names in national metal: Krisiun , Korzus , The Troops of Doom , and The Mist , representing different generations and styles of the genre. Tickets are already on sale through the Clube do Ingresso website.

Party On Wacken 2026 will bring live shows, special activations, themed parties, and official content that reflects the spirit of the festival to an international audience. Each country will have its own edition, adapted to the local scene, but integrated into a global celebration that reinforces the unity of the metalhead community.

Recognized as one of the main symbols of global metal culture, Wacken Open Air annually brings together tens of thousands of fans in the small village of Wacken, Germany. Now, for the first time, the festival expands its anniversary celebration into a global experience, connecting fans, artists, and communities in a grand tribute to its history.
