In an interview for the Cutter's Rockast Volbeat bassist Kaspar Boye Larsen stated that the band is using their time during isolation to write new music.
Larsen, who lives in Denmark, says that thankfully things in the country are returning to some semblance of normality, given that his children have gone back to school and his wife to work, giving the musician more time to create new music.
The bassist states that the band, which should be touring the United States at the moment with Clutch and The Picturebooks , is being greatly inspired by anxiety and concern about the future.
He also says that, with so many artists using their time to create new songs, the end of 2020 and 2021 will be packed with new releases. That's good news, at least, right?!
