Volbeat is back in the studio recording their next studio album, the successor to Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie , released in 2016.
According to guitarist Rob Caggiano , via Loudwire , the work will be different and the band is already "halfway through the album." Vocalist Michael Poulsen , revealing that he doesn't yet know if he will follow the sound of "The Everlasting."
“It’s impossible to say that now. I only know that it will be different from what we’ve done before, but we’ll keep the original sound; after all, we’re still Volbeat,” he said. “Once Lemmy was interviewed by a guy who said that the last Motorhead album sounded a lot like the other records, and then Lemmy replied, ‘Well, thanks, because the last time I checked, I was still part of Motorhead.’”
