Lead singer Michael Poulsen revealed that the song's lyrics were inspired by a book about Johnny Cash. "When I read that book, he went through some tough times with alcohol and drugs," said Michael. "He went into a cave to lie down and die. But he woke up and felt like he'd been given a second chance."
