Volbeat announced this Thursday, the 19th, the confirmation of guitarist Flemming C. Lund . Lund had already been touring with the group since 2023, the year Rob Caggiano , his predecessor, announced his departure . He also recorded guitar parts for God of Angels Trust, the group's new album , released in June of last year.
In a social media post, Volbeat welcomed their newest member. “We are very happy to announce that after this last year on the road and, of course, recording some electrifying solos on God Of Angels Trust , we have finally made it official and Flemming C. Lund is officially Volbeat’s permanent lead guitarist,” the band wrote [transcription via Blabbermouth ].
“Besides seeing him touring with us last year, you can also find Flemming playing with his other bands, The Arcane Order , Temple of Scorn , and of course, Asinhell [fronted by the band's vocalist, Michael Poulsen ]. You may have also heard him in his previous band, Autumn Leaves. Join us in welcoming Flemming, and we'll see you on the road this summer!”
