Band plays with guests in France
Canadian band Voivod brought Jason Newsted and Phil Anselmo at their Hellfest Festival show in France on June 23rd. With Anselmo joining them, the band played a cover of Pink Floyd's "Astronomy Domine," and with Newsted, they performed the song "Voivod."
Jason Newsted joined Voivod after leaving Metallica and remained a member until 2008. Currently, the bassist has his own project, "Newsted ," which will release its first full-length CD on August 6th.
