The vocalist was 60 years old

Vocalist Percy Weiss, best known for his work with the band Made In Brazil, died today in a car accident on the Rodovia dos Bandeirantes highway in São Paulo.

Weiss's car overturned and the vocalist was taken to a hospital in Jundiaí, where he died. Weiss was 60 years old.

Percy marked the beginning of his career in Made In Brazil with the album "Jack O Estripador" in 1974. The vocalist was also part of Patrulha do Espaço and Harpia.

“We were fortunate and happy to have the collaboration and great talent of this magnificent singer at a time when MADE IN BRAZIL was going through a serious crisis, when our vocalist at the time, Cornelius Lucifer, left the group in early 1975 due to internal band issues. Percy Weiss took over the vocals and soon, with his powerful voice and charisma, continued the work in shows and later on records, gaining many new fans for Made in Brazil. RIP – Percy Weiss, partner and brother in Rock and on the road… Much Light for you on your path! Go with God…”
